What is A-GPS?
A-GPS development was driven by U.S. FCC Emergency 911 (E911) requirement to quickly provide cell phone location to emergency call dispatchers. A-GPS provides the mobile with knowledge of the GPS satellites to bring the Time to First Fix from minutes down to seconds. A-GPS can be implemented in GSM, WCDMA and CDMA2000. In the coming future, A-GPS can be implemented in LTE system as well.

What is OTA?
Over the Air (OTA) is a radiated performance test for radio mobile communications devices to verify their 3D “Radiated RF Transmitter Power” and “Radiated Receiver Sensitivity”.
