GCF-CC v3.54.2 updates OTA requirement

GCF-CC v3.54.2 has been published on May 22, 2014. There’re some updates on OTA testing:



 1. Specified more device types for no test requirement:


       a. For Data centric device which support only GERAN


       b. For USB Sticks and PCMCIA data cards


       c. For Devices without a defined or specified antenna


       d. For Devices with a removable antenna that is connected to the device through a coaxial cable greater than 20 cm in length and not physically attached to the host device.


 2. Allow CTIA limit applied on average of low, middle and high channels


 3. Devices that reference, but fail to meet the recommended limits defined by CTIA for Free-space OTA measurements, shall state the measured values, Failure to meet the recommended limits defined by CTIA for Free-space OTA measurements shall not prevent GCF Certification of the product, but this is subject to ongoing review by GCF.
